Riley made his first grade debut in Round 27 of the 2023 NRL Season against St George Illawarra.

He rose through the ranks for the Knights, playing Harold Matthews Cup in 2018, SG Ball in 2019 to 2021 and Jersey Flegg from 2022 to 2023.
