Hamish Stewart is a promising young forward for the St George Illawarra Dragons, having made his NRL debut in Round 1 of the 2025 season against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Jubilee Stadium.

Hamish hails from Gerringong, New South Wales, and is a proud product of the Gerringong Lions, a club renowned for producing top-tier rugby league talent. He progressed through the Dragons’ junior pathways, including stints in the Harold Matthews Cup, SG Ball, Jersey Flegg, and NSW Cup, before being elevated to the club’s Top 30 squad ahead of the 2025 season.

Known for his high work rate, physicality, and defensive prowess, Hamish has quickly established himself as a reliable lock forward. In his first seven NRL appearances, he has demonstrated strong tackling efficiency and solid running metres, contributing significantly to the team’s performance.
