Tyran made his NRL Debut, as Hooker, for Melbourne Storm in Round 1 of the 2022 Season. He is the son of the famous Australian and NSW former Rugby League player of the 80’s and 90’s – Rod Wishart. After a breakout year, he was presented the Melbourne Storm 2022 Billy Slater Rookie of the Year!

Tyran played a crucial role in the Melbourne Storm squad that advanced to the semi-finals in 2023, contributing by scoring the first try of the match.
