Caleb Hamlin-Uele

Caleb has inked an initial one-year deal for the 2024 season with Wakefield Trinity.

His rugby league roots trace back to Glenora, where he honed his skills and earned the opportunity to represent the New Zealand Under 18’s on the international stage. Progressing through the ranks, Caleb continued his career in the NZRL National Premiership, based in Auckland, until a pivotal move to Sydney in 2022. This relocation aligned with his brother Braden’s presence in the NRL’s first-grade competition.

Caleb’s trajectory gained momentum through outstanding performances in the NSW Cup over the past two seasons. Showcasing his prowess with 37 games and 8 tries for the Newtown Jets, he has positioned himself on the cusp of NRL prominence with the Cronulla Sharks. Caleb’s journey from the grassroots of Glenora to the fringes of the NRL reflects his dedication, talent, and the exciting potential that lies ahead in his career.
