Luca Moretti is a versatile forward for the Parramatta Eels in the NRL, capable of playing both in the middle and on the edge. He made his NRL debut in Round 13 of the 2023 season against the North Queensland Cowboys.​

In 2024, Moretti featured in 12 games for the Eels, contributing to the team’s efforts throughout the season. His consistent performances earned him a contract extension,
re-signing with Parramatta until the end of the 2027 season. ​

Internationally, Moretti represented Italy in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup (played in 2022), making his debut in a notable 28–4 victory over Scotland. ​

Standing at 185 cm and weighing 102 kg, Moretti is recognized for his strong defensive work and adaptability on the field. As of April 2025, he continues to be a valuable asset for the Eels, contributing both on and off the field.
