Karl Oloapu is a highly rated young playmaker who came through the Broncos academy after signing with the club at 13. He re-signed with Brisbane in 2022 before requesting a release and joining the Canterbury Bulldogs on a four-year deal.

He made his NRL debut in Round 9, 2023, in the Bulldogs’ win over St George Illawarra and went on to play seven top-grade games that season.

A serious neck injury later sidelined him for all of 2024, requiring surgery and a long rehab. In 2025 he moved home to Redcliffe and linked with the Redcliffe Dolphins, where he’s made a strong comeback after his recovery and has re-signed for the 2026 season.
