Player Bio
Harrison Edwards is a versatile and relentless forward for the Parramatta Eels, valued for his ability to cover multiple roles across the middle of the field. Comfortable as a lock or prop, and with the added ability to slot in at dummy‑half, Edwards brings flexibility, reliability and a strong defensive work ethic to the Eels’ pack.
Born in Penrith and raised on the NSW Mid North Coast, Edwards played his junior rugby league with the Forster Tuncurry Hawks before progressing through the Sydney Roosters system and the North Sydney Bears pathway. He made his NRL debut with the Canterbury‑Bankstown Bulldogs in Round 20 of the 2022 season and went on to register 17 first‑grade appearances with the club across three seasons.
Edwards joined the North Queensland Cowboys midway through the 2024 season, where he quickly established himself as a dependable squad member. He featured in 15 matches during the 2024 campaign, including both finals games, before backing it up with 21 appearances in 2025. His consistent performances were recognised at representative level with selection for the Prime Minister’s XIII in 2025.
In May 2026, Edwards signed with the Parramatta Eels on a deal running through to the end of the 2027 season, joining the club effective immediately as they navigated a significant injury toll. With more than 50 NRL games to his name, he arrives at CommBank Stadium entering the prime of his career, offering experience, toughness and a team‑first mentality to the Eels’ forward rotation.
