Player Bio

Harrison Edwards is a versatile and hard‑working forward for the North Queensland Cowboys, capable of playing through the middle or on an edge as a lock, prop, or second‑rower. Born in Penrith and raised on the NSW Mid North Coast, he played his junior rugby league for the Forster Tuncurry Hawks before progressing through the Roosters and North Sydney Bears pathways.

Edwards made his NRL debut for the Canterbury‑Bankstown Bulldogs in Round 20 of the 2022 season, coming off the bench in a win over the Newcastle Knights. He went on to make 17 NRL appearances for the Bulldogs across 2022–2024 before signing a long‑term deal with the Cowboys in April 2024.

His move to North Queensland proved a strong fit, playing 15 games in 2024 including both finals matches as the Cowboys reached the second week of the playoffs. He backed it up with 21 appearances in 2025, becoming one of the side’s most reliable and underrated performers. His consistency earned him representative honours, debuting for the Prime Minister’s XIII in 2025.

With more than 50 NRL games to his name and entering the prime of his career, Edwards continues to grow as a key contributor to the Cowboys’ forward rotation, valued for his effort, professionalism, and team‑first mentality.
