Yasmin Clydsdale, a former Rugby Union Sevens player, has been an integral part of the Central Coast Roosters since 2020, and her contributions didn’t go unnoticed. In 2021, she was honored with the Players’ Player award for her exceptional performances.

Returning to the Sydney Roosters NRLW squad, Yasmin’s versatility shone through as she showcased her skills as an outside back, comfortably playing in various positions, including centre, wing, and even the back row. She had a remarkable ability to find the try line, impressively scoring seven tries in ten matches during the previous season.

Yasmin’s standout moment came in the 2021 Grand Final, held in Queensland in April 2022 when she scored a try, contributing to the Sydney Roosters NRLW side’s victory.

In October 2022, Yasmin achieved back-to-back NRLW Premiership wins, this time with the Newcastle Knights. Her incredible season led to her being named Players’ Player and earned her a spot in the 2022 Jillaroos World Cup Squad for the tour to England.

The year 2023 brought more accolades for Yasmin, as she was selected to play in both games for NSW in the State of Origin, with the team emerging victorious in Game 2. She was awarded the NRLW Dally M Second Rower of the Year, a testament to her exceptional skills. Her achievements were further recognized at the NRL Knights NRLW Awards Night, where she received both the Coaches Award and Gladiator of the Year Award. Yasmin was also part of the Newcastle Knights’ back-to-back NRLW Grand Final-winning team in 2023.
