Ryan Carr is an experienced rugby league coach leading the Castleford Tigers in the Super League from 2026. A former half who came through the Cronulla system, he played across the NSW Cup and Queensland Cup before moving into coaching.

Ryan began his coaching journey with South Sydney’s under 20s, later taking charge of Mounties and then heading to England to coach Featherstone Rovers. He returned to Australia to join Parramatta as a pathways and NRL assistant coach, before moving to St George Illawarra where he also stepped in as interim head coach in 2023.

Known for his calm approach and strong development focus, Ryan has built a reputation for lifting standards and getting the best out of his players.
