Justin Morgan was a professional NRL player. He debuted for the Parramatta Eels before moving to Canberra Raiders followed by New Zealand Warriors. Upon retirement he moved to France where he coached the Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League. He was in France for 7 seasons before moving back to Australia to become Assistant Coach at the Canberra Raiders 2012-13.

He is currently the Assistant Coach of the New Zealand Warriors as well as an Assistant Coach of the New Zealand National team.
