Jayden Brailey is a tenacious and skillful dummy-half who joined the Newcastle Knights in 2020 following a successful tenure with the Cronulla Sharks. Renowned for his sharp game sense, leadership, and defensive grit, Brailey quickly became a cornerstone of the Knights’ forward pack.

His leadership qualities earned him the title of Club Captain ahead of the 2022 season, reflecting his influence both on and off the field. Despite facing two serious leg injuries, Brailey’s resilience and determination saw him make a triumphant return to the field in 2024.

Affectionately known as ‘Brails,’ he continues to set the standard through his toughness, professionalism, and tactical prowess. With a contract secured until at least the end of the 2025 season, Brailey remains a key figure at the Knights.
