Hayden is a promising young centre for the St George Illawarra Dragons, known for his explosive burst, defensive reliability, and composure under pressure. A Gerringong Lions junior and former Australian Schoolboys representative, he quickly made his mark through the Dragons’ junior pathways, including Harold Matthews, SG Ball, and NSW Cup, with standout performances in each grade.

He stormed onto the NRL stage in Round 23 of the 2025 season against the Sharks at Jubilee Stadium, starting at centre and delivered an unforgettable debut. Hayden crossed for a try, registered a try assist, made 18 tackles with a 90% efficiency, broke two tackles and powered through 110 running metres in an 80-minute performance.

He has already represented NSW at Under 19 Origin level, often competing above his age group with confidence and physicality.
