Connor Votano is a dynamic fullback for the Newcastle Knights, known for his speed, agility, and attacking prowess. He made his NRL debut in Round 24 of the 2025 season against the North Queensland Cowboys. Votano began his junior rugby league career with the Entrance Tigers. He progressed through the Newcastle Knights’ development system, earning the Kurt Gidley Award for the Harold Matthews Cup Player of the Year in 2023.
In 2024, Votano represented New South Wales in the Under-19s State of Origin series and made his NSW Cup debut for the Knights. His performances at the junior level earned him a spot on the Knights’ full-time roster ahead of the 2025 NRL season.
