Player Bio
Shaylee Bent is a powerful and highly respected NRLW forward who has joined the Wests Tigers on a two‑year deal for the 2026 NRLW season, following a strong stint with the Gold Coast Titans. Renowned for her strong carries, defensive intensity and consistent impact on both sides of the ball, Bent is widely regarded as one of the competition’s most reliable second‑rowers.
She began her rugby league journey as a teenager with the Glenmore Park Brumbies, progressing through the Tarsha Gale Cup with the Parramatta Eels and later the Wests Tigers before stepping into senior women’s football with Mounties, where she played a key role in the club’s Grand Final victory.
Bent made her NRLW debut for the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2019, featuring in the Grand Final during her debut season. Her outstanding form was recognised in 2020 when she was named the Dragons’ NRLW Player of the Year, cementing her status as an elite edge forward.
Her return to the Wests Tigers marks the next chapter in a career defined by experience, professionalism, and leadership at the highest levels of the women’s game.
