Player Bio
Reuben Garrick is a high‑impact outside back who has become one of the NRL’s elite finishers and most reliable point scorers since making his NRL debut for the Manly Sea Eagles in Round 1 on 16 March 2019 against the Wests Tigers. A former Gerringong Lions junior, he quickly established himself as a mainstay in Manly’s backline, excelling on the wing, at centre, and as a goal‑kicker.
Garrick rose to league‑wide prominence during his record‑breaking 2021 season, where he was named Dally M Winger of the Year and became the first NRL player ever to score 20 tries and 100 goals in a single season. He also set a new NRL regular‑season points record with 334 points, surpassing Hazem El Masri’s long‑standing benchmark. His outstanding performances saw him earn multiple club honours, including the Steve Menzies Medal and Manly’s Player of the Year award.
Across the 2022–2025 seasons, Garrick remained Manly’s premier points producer, regularly topping the club tally and finishing as the NRL’s leading points scorer in 2023. He continued this form through 2024, scoring 190 points and surpassing 1,000 career points, elevating him to third on Manly’s all‑time points list.
By the end of 2025, Garrick had played 157 NRL games, scored 89 tries, and cemented his status as one of the most accurate and dependable goal‑kickers in club history.
In December 2025, Garrick signed a three‑year contract with the Sydney Roosters, beginning in 2027, marking a major future transition after completing his time with Manly through 2026.
