Adam Clune is a skilled halfback currently playing for the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League. Known for his game management and playmaking abilities, Clune has made significant contributions to every team he's been part of.
Clune began his professional rugby league career with the St George Illawarra Dragons, where he was an integral part of the 2019 Canterbury Cup NSW team that secured the minor premiership. His outstanding performance that season earned him a spot in the Canterbury Cup NSW Team of the Year as the halfback.
In 2020, Clune made his NRL debut with the Dragons, showcasing his abilities at the top level. He later joined the Newcastle Knights ahead of the 2022 NRL season, where he became a mainstay in the team over two seasons.
During the 2023 season, Clune also featured prominently in the NSW Cup, delivering impressive performances that caught the attention of international clubs.
In October 2023, Clune signed a three-year deal with the Huddersfield Giants, taking on the number seven jersey for the 2024 season. His move to the Super League marked a new chapter in his career, bringing his experience and leadership to the Giants' squad.
