Player Bio

Aaron Schoupp is a powerful, hard‑running outside back who has developed into a versatile centre‑turned‑edge‑forward for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. Widely known as “Schouppy,” he is recognised for his aggressive carries, defensive toughness, and growing adaptability across multiple positions.

Schoupp made his NRL debut with the Canterbury‑Bankstown Bulldogs in Round 11, 2021, against the Gold Coast Titans, finishing his rookie season with 13 appearances and 3 tries.

He backed up with a strong 2022 campaign, appearing in 19 matches and cementing himself as a regular first‑grader for the Bulldogs.

In November 2022, Schoupp signed a three‑year deal with the Gold Coast Titans, where he continued developing his game, notably scoring a double in Round 3 of the 2023 season. After 20 total appearances for the Titans across 2023–2024, he made a mid‑season move. On 20 May 2024, the Manly Sea Eagles announced his immediate signing on a two‑year contract, adding depth to their injury‑hit backline. Schoupp later transitioned into the second row, where Manly saw long‑term potential in his physical style and work rate.

Across the 2024–2025 seasons, Schoupp made several appearances for Manly before suffering a ruptured ACL in the final round of 2025, side-lining him for a significant portion of the following year. Despite the setback, Manly extended his contract, confirming a one‑year extension for the 2026 season, a testament to the club’s belief in his future impact.

To date, Schoupp has played 57 NRL matches, scoring 12 tries, and is regarded as a committed, high‑energy competitor with his best football still ahead of him.
