Charlotte Basham is a promising back-rower for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRLW. A product of the Corrimal Cougars junior system, she made her NRLW debut in Round 9 of the 2023 season, just nine days after turning 18. In 2024, she featured in seven matches for the Dragons, showcasing her defensive prowess with 163 tackles at a 92.1% efficiency rate and averaging 42 running metres per game. 

Basham played a pivotal role in the Illawarra Steelers’ undefeated 2024 Tarsha Gale Cup campaign, contributing to their Grand Final victory over the Newcastle Knights. Her impressive performances earned her selections for both the NSW Country Under-19s and the NSW Under-19s State of Origin teams in 2024. 

Initially contracted to the Dragons until the end of the 2024 season, Basham’s current contract status beyond that period has not been publicly confirmed.
