Charlotte Basham is an emerging back‑row talent who has quickly established herself as one of the NRLW’s most promising young forwards. A proud product of the Corrimal Cougars and the St George Illawarra Dragons’ junior pathways, she rose through the system on the back of strong performances in the Tarsha Gale Cup, where she helped guide the Illawarra Steelers to a premiership.

Basham made her NRLW debut in the final round of the 2023 season, a milestone achieved just days after turning 18, and she immediately impressed with her toughness, defensive work and maturity well beyond her years. Across the 2024 season she developed into a dependable second‑row option, earning increased minutes and becoming known for her high tackle efficiency and consistent involvement. By 2025, she had cemented herself as a regular contributor in the Dragons’ pack, delivering hard running, relentless defence and a strong work ethic across nine appearances that season.

Her talent has also been recognised on the representative stage. Basham has featured for the NSW Under‑19s, NSW Country Under‑19s and the Australian Schoolgirls, while also emerging as a leader among her age group.

In a significant career move, Basham signed with the Canberra Raiders for the 2026 and 2027 NRLW seasons, marking the next chapter in her development.
