Georgia Hannaway is a dynamic and versatile NRLW playmaker who has extended her stay with the Cronulla‑Sutherland Sharks through to the end of the 2027 season, reinforcing her long‑term commitment to the club. A Queensland State of Origin representative, Hannaway is equally effective in the halves or at dummy‑half, bringing creativity, speed and game intelligence to every role she fills.
Hannaway joined the Sharks ahead of the 2024 NRLW season, making an immediate impact by winning the club’s NRLW Rookie of the Year award and playing a pivotal role in Cronulla’s maiden Grand Final appearance. Since arriving in the Shire, she has developed into one of the competition’s most exciting all‑round playmakers, combining strong ball‑running instincts with sharp passing and finishing ability.
